Ashley Photoshoot Part Three

This is the LAST of the posts for Ashley's photoshoot. By this time the light was leaving us a little too much for the place that we wanted to be in, and quite frankly i think we were both getting a little tired (we were there for 2 1/2 hours). I loved it though! SO fun!!! This is her last change of clothes, and the last of the photos i will be posting of her session. Thanks again Ashley!!

Ashley Photoshoot Part Two

We had a HARD time picking just 6 for this (so we did seven haha). Most of the ones we took in the "yellow" ensamble we had finally got in sync with what we were wanting and it was perfect lighting we had the most fun with these ones!

Ashley Photoshoot Part One

So today my friend was willing to be my "muse" for a photoshoot. We decided to go to Westminster College. BEAUTIFUL campus and BEAUTIFUL friend. Who could ask for something more?! Not me. Well we ended up taking about 200 photos. And we like about 190 of them :). So i will do three posts (she wore three different outfits). This is the first post of three!

Photoshop Phriday (2)

For this "phriday photoshop" i picked one of my all time photos. Period. I actually took this one, and its so cute to me. This is a picture of my sister (well... shes not my blood sister but she might as well be!) and her boyfriend Matt at Sweethearts dance. I think the final edited one is so adorable.
This is the original photo

And this is the final masterpiece! To get it to be like this I simply Hightened Contrast, hightened Hue, Duplicated layer, turned black and white, plus two reds, plus one green, minus two blues, magnetic lasso tool, Gaussian Blur, Eraser tool with 87% opacity. Simple as that :)

Window Light

This is the second of sweet Paisley. She was in the middle of telling me about her ants and I accidently pressed the shutter release. Not to bad!!!

Paisley

I got the privilegde of watching cute Paisley the other day. Let me tell you this girl is a HOOT! Serioulsy so funny. So naturally i brought my camera to see if i could get a picture of this cutie, she was standing by the window (and i love using window light because that means you dont have to use a flash), and it was PERFECT so i said "Paisley dont move ill be right back keep telling me about your ant farm ok?" and when i got back she was just standing there talking about her aunt farm. Soooo cute. Anyway, so this is the same picture three times again-- i like seeing how different each picture can look-- and people Paisley is an absolute GEM, find me with someone with prettier eyes and ill give you a dollar. Indroducing Paisley!! (Her sister Mollie was sleeping the whole time :( and she is just as adorable i promise you!)

Trains

I love this picture of Carson. I absolutely love it, and not because its an awesome photo to begin with, but because I could change it several different ways and it i loved it for different reasons each time I altered and changed it. A versatile photo is the best kind!

This is the original untouched photo. For some reason it wont rotate this one but this is the original!

This one has heigtened color and contrast, slight gaussian blur.

And this is the black and white one, I love the different tones!

Oh Boy

There is no denying it-- Carson and Caleb LOVE trains. Trains, cars, trains, trucks, trians and more trains. Thomas is a part of their family as far as they are concerned haha :). Hours apon hours are spent with these trains. So fun!!

Carson and Caleb

These two boys are 100% boy and 100% adorable. I couldnt wait to bring my camera and take pictures of these boys. I have loved getting to know their sweet personalities and spend mornings with them (and even some whole days! :) ). Im sure their will be more pictures of them throughout the summer- they are good subjects to practice on dont you think? These Boys keep me on my toes, i love them so much!!

Backyard Baby

This was my favorite picture from my "session" with Nannies. I love it, I dont know why- i just really like the angle and how the flowers are in color, it just fits!

Nanners in the Yard

So on friday i took Nanners in the backyard to practice my MANUAL (?!) settings on my camera. I love the colors i told her to wear (yes im so mean i made her change haha). She is such a cutie!!

Photoshop Phriday- Morgan and Kalie

From now on fellow bloggers I will be posting 'Photoshop-Fridays' where i will take someones photo (with permission of course) that they have taken and photoshop it and show you the final result! I love photoshop and it really is amazing what it can do to a photo. So for the first one I took my friend Kalie's photo that she took at our senior dinner dance. I love this picture and when i saw it i knew BAM i want to photoshopt that and make the colors more vibrant- make those baby blues stand out, and the backround blurry. And i think it turned out not too shabby. Although it didnt hurt that both these girls are absolutely gorgeous :)

BEFORE

AFTER :)

To make this masterpiece what it is-- Heightened contrast, hightened Saturation, Gaussian blur, duplicated layer- then erase tool of about 65-70% opacity on face to make backround blurry and five a 'glow' to the faces. I hope you enjoyed photoshop phriday!!!!

If You Love JESUS!!!!

My good friend Megan and I were the Childrens Worship leaders this week. And we LOVE this age group (We also love working in the Toddler Time area-- what can i say i just love kiddos!). The kids in Bible Hour range from 4-9. And let me tell you, trying to take pictures during worship and not have them look at the camera or pose is quite the challenge, so i just gave up trying to hide taking picures and let several pose and smile if they wanted too. I love leading in Bible Hour- its so fun to see these kids and their heart for God!!
Our Fearless Co-Leader Megan!!!

And yes-- if you were wondering, boys do go to Bible Hour too-- its just that they were all making silly faces and i could never get a good shot of them haha. Arent all these girls Cuties?! Love them all to death!!

The "Rush" Kids

This past weekend I got to go play with the "Rush" children!! (Now on my blog I will most likely never use a persons real name, mainly to keep identities private and secret, unless the person does not mind and gives permission directly. However especially with children I will not reveal their names- I know who they are and that is all that matters :). So aliases it is for the kiddos!!) I LOVE the "Rush" kids. Evan is such a sweetheart and Samantha is a hoot. I just couldn't pass up this opportunity to try out my camera with them- they are both as adorable as it gets and they really are a pleasure to be around. I just love them!!

Isn't he a stud :)

And she is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous.

Thanks Mom and Dad for letting me play with all your babies! I love them so so so MUCH!!

An Attempted Practice with the Fam

Needless to say their was a billion pictures taken and barely any that survived the 'fast funny face' tricks and such. Although i have to say some of these are my favorites that i have ever taken! Thanks mom and Nanners for putting up with my high demand of 10 minutes of your precious life that you will never get back :) HA

This one PERFECTLY captures their personalities in my humble yet accurate opinion :)
